Use the form on the ForbesBooks or Advantage website to submit book, contact, and shipping information. There is a 10 copy minimum for all orders.
Please keep in mind that non-Member book orders for resale purposes should go through Ingram wholesale. If you are a consumer, you may make your purchase through a book retailer wherever the book is sold, such as Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million, and/or Bookshop.
If you are a consumer and interested in purchasing bulk copies, you may purchase the book through Porchlight Book Company. Porchlight specializes in bulk orders and offers discounts at volume.
Please allow a minimum of 10 business days for delivery from the time an order is paid for. We are not able to guarantee delivery dates of copies ordered with standard shipping within 10–12 business days of the needed delivery date.
If a domestic order is placed within the 10-day window, rush shipping must be selected for the copies to arrive by the necessary delivery date.
Unfortunately there are no rush options for international orders. Additionally, we are unable to estimate and pay for any customs fees before the order is submitted. Only the carrier can arrange additional information and fees once the shipment is at the destination country, so please refer to the tracking information we provide to be aware of any customs alerts and receive the order in a timely manner.
[Please note that during the holiday season print-on-demand print and ship orders turnaround time can take up to 20 business days due to delays and volume. During this time, we cannot guarantee delivery for any dates within 20 business days for print-on-demand print and ship book orders.]
If your order is for an event, we require the order be placed no fewer than 15 days before the day before the event. Please keep in mind we cannot guarantee delivery in a certain day or time window.
We submit all author orders through our warehouse partner Ingram, who has a standard 3–5 day packing window before shipment. Once we are alerted your order has shipped from Ingram, we will share tracking information with you.
We are not a fulfillment center or mailing house, but our Direct-to-Author Fulfillment directly facilitates your sales needs and drop-ships your orders anywhere in the world.
We order books through our warehouse partner Ingram, to be shipped to an address by UPS or DHL. Our order policy is dictated by the operations of Ingram’s warehouses.
Within 1–2 business days of order submission, you will receive a confirmation and quote from our book order team, after which our finance team will send you an invoice and direct payment link. When the invoice is paid, your order will be processed.
For offset / warehoused titles, authors pay the cost of shipping plus a 20% processing and handling fee for existing inventory from an Ingram warehouse to any address.
If the book is Print-on-Demand (POD), the author is responsible for shipping as well as the cost to print, plus a 20% processing and handling fee.
Please note that all rates are subject to change based on material costs and carrier rates. The estimates included in order quotes are good for 15 days.
We cannot guarantee delivery in sooner than 10 business days, and require 15 business days advance notice for events. We can provide quotes for rush processing/shipping, but if there is a hard deadline for books within the 15 business-day window, you must select rush shipping.
However, because we place orders through Ingram and their priority is retail order fulfillment, we are not able to fulfill orders within 1–3 business days.
We also ask that you specify the day of the actual event so we can have the order delivered on the day before the event.
If you need books for multiple events, we recommend placing a single bulk order beforehand to be shipped directly to you, rather than placing an order for each event to be shipped to the venues.
Domestic orders are delivered via UPS; international orders are shipped DHL.
We cannot accept shipping address changes after 2 business days of the order being processed. Please also keep in mind shipping address changes may delay the order processing and shipping.
Unfortunately we are unable to communicate directly with the carrier or request any changes once the order is with the carrier. We recommend signing into a UPS My Choice account (for domestic orders) and submitting an Email UPS form if you need to submit additional information or contact the carrier. You can also update shipping information (address, delivery time, etc.) with a UPS My Choice account. UPS can also be reached at 1-800-742-5877.
Once the tracking information appears on the carrier website, please contact UPS directly if you need to schedule delivery at a different day and time than their estimate. We are not liable for shipments once they leave the warehouse.
